Essential storage
The app uses essential cookies for sign in, session continuity and protecting Instagram connection and email verification flows. The marketing website does not read app session credentials. BIGI access sessions last seven days. Remembered sign in renews during foreground use and expires after 90 inactive days per device. Returning browser hints expire after 180 days and cannot grant access. Sign out or manage signed in devices under Profile. Hosting request and security records help deliver and protect pages, as explained in the privacy notice.
bigi_measurement_choice remembers your analytics choice for 180 days. This preference is necessary to respect that choice. It is shared between heybigi.com and app.heybigi.com. Refusing optional analytics does not require an account. The necessary cookie bigi_measurement_intent and local storage entry bigi:analytics intent coordinate your choice between tabs and the website/app, and retain a failed withdrawal for retry. It contains only a choice, timestamp and random operation reference, is not used for analytics, and expires after 180 days.
Optional first party analytics
If you accept, BIGI measures marketing page views, signup button clicks, server confirmed new accounts, Instagram connections and workspace activation. Activation means completed setup plus a non default Brain item, content draft or campaign draft saved by the owner. A connection is not proof that a message was delivered.
bigi_measurement_consent records a random consent reference for up to 180 days. bigi_measurement_ref is a random attribution reference that expires after 30 days. Both are first party cookies shared with the BIGI app; they are not available to advertising networks. While your consent is valid, a new attribution reference can be created after the previous one expires.
What is collected and retained
Records contain approved page paths, predefined button locations, broad source categories (search, AI assistant, other or unknown), timestamps and pseudonymous references. Account outcomes are linked privately to your workspace. We do not collect message text, email addresses, Instagram handles, credentials or raw URL query strings for analytics. No new analytics provider receives these records.
Raw measurement records are retained for 90 days and identifier free aggregate reports for 13 months. Consent choices expire after 180 days. Short lived hashed request limit keys protect these endpoints from abuse. Retention is enforced by scheduled maintenance; failures require recovery.
Accept, refuse or withdraw
Choose Allow analytics or No thanks during onboarding, or use the inline settings on this page or in Profile. There is no automatic website popup. Collection starts only after consent in this browser; earlier visits, signup actions and connections are not reconstructed. The footer’s Cookies link always returns here. The app also has these controls in its privacy notice. Refusing stops optional collection and removes linked raw measurement records. Withdrawal while signed in also removes those linked to that workspace. Identifier free aggregate reports cannot be linked back to you and are retained for their stated period.
If the service is temporarily unreachable, refusing stops collection in this browser immediately. A notice explains that deletion is still pending; BIGI retries when you return. Contact gdpr@sita.dev if you need help. Clearing cookies can prevent us from identifying a previous anonymous reference; signed in withdrawal can still remove records linked to your workspace. You may also block cookies in your browser, although blocking essential cookies can prevent sign in.
