Export, disconnect and delete do different things. Choose the action that matches what you want to remove.
Export your workspace
Open BIGI and go to Profile to request a workspace export. Keep the export securely: it may contain business knowledge, conversations and lead information. If you cannot access your account, contact info@heybigi.com for help verifying and completing the request.
Request workspace deletion
Email gdpr@sita.dev or info@heybigi.com with the subject “BIGI data deletion”. Include your BIGI account email, Instagram username and whether you want the whole workspace or specific records removed. Do not send passwords, tokens or verification codes.
The request covers stored connections, settings, chats, knowledge, memories, campaigns, uploaded assets and lead records, subject to applicable legal retention. We verify authority before processing a request and confirm completion or explain any records that must remain.
If you interacted with an account using BIGI
You do not need a BIGI account to make a request. Give us your Instagram username, the relevant business or creator username and a description of the records concerned. We coordinate with the account owner responsible for that data.
Where the account owner is controller, they decide the request under applicable law. We assist them and can help route your request without exposing another customer’s records.
Timing and stored copies
We respond without undue delay, normally within one month. If a lawful extension is needed for complex or numerous requests, we explain the reason within that first month.
Workspace deletion stops access and queues removal of its records and files. File cleanup waits for previously issued upload links to expire and retries after storage failures. Completion of live deletion does not mean that all provider backups have already expired. Restricted backups follow the relevant provider cycle; legal retention exceptions are explained when responding.
Disconnect Instagram
In BIGI, open Profile, then Instagram, and select Disconnect Instagram. You can also revoke the connection in Instagram’s connected app settings.
Disconnecting stops future access through that connection. It does not erase your BIGI workspace, revoke another service’s access or remove posts and messages already held by Instagram. Request workspace deletion separately if that is what you need.
