Connect your website, links and tools to BIGI

By BIGI · Updated

Understand the difference between information in Brain, destination links and custom connections for orders, leads or bookings.

Start with your information.

Give Brain your website, documents, FAQs and account details. Review what it learns and confirm important facts. Adding a source helps BIGI answer questions; it does not give BIGI permission to change that website or service.

Share a link when that is enough.

Add an approved product, checkout, registration or booking link. BIGI can share it in a relevant, eligible conversation. The follower completes the next step on that website. You do not need a custom connector simply to share a link.

Use a custom connection for actions in another service.

A compatible connector can let BIGI read products, check orders, find booking times, save leads, book appointments or create support requests. These are configured connections, not ready-made integrations with every shop or CRM. Your developer needs to prepare a service that supports BIGI’s connector format.

Choose the access you need.

In Profile, open Connections and choose Connect a service. Your developer supplies the connector address and signing secret. Select only the actions the service needs. Keep the secret out of chats, screenshots and public documents. Confirm the service’s costs and data handling before connecting it.

Check the connection and approve the action.

Save the connection and use Check to confirm it supports the selected actions. A saved connection is not necessarily ready. Review external actions in the BIGI workspace before confirming them, including the intended person, booking or destination. Instagram permissions remain separate.

Verify outcomes and disconnect when needed.

Inspect the action status and confirm the result in the connected service. If a request has an uncertain outcome, check before retrying so you do not create a duplicate booking or lead. Disconnect services you no longer need from Connections.

Put it into practice.

Start with your own account information and choose the actions you want to review.
